Roll-to-Roll Processing

Rolling is a process in which data records are processed sequentially instead of batch-wise. The result of the process makes it possible to get multiple reports on the same set of data without having to run them separately.

For example: If we were running a report based on a specific date range and had more than 50,000 entries on that day if the system ran it every time it would take a long time. However, with rolling, only those days in the past will be stored, so when the user runs a query again, they can get the data immediately. Click for more info

However, there is a drawback to using this type of processing. It won’t let you use formulas and calculations. So, while you might not need all these features, you may find yourself wanting to add some extra calculations. In this case, you can either do this manually or opt for another method.

Rolling reports means that a database keeps records of its activity over an extended period of time. These are usually kept as files in the backup archive. The main advantage is that you don’t have to keep the entire database open at once. You can select just a small part of the data and analyze it, then move to another part of the data, without having to re-open the whole thing. The disadvantage is that you cannot perform complex operations like creating formulas and other things that require opening the full file.  To work around this problem, you could create two databases – one where you store the raw data, and one where you want to calculate something. Then, connect to the second database via ODBC from your first database. LG Corporation

The results of these analyses are reported in a format called “rollup”. The term roll-up comes from the fact that the report looks like a rolled-up map. For example: If I wanted to look for entries by state, it would be a very big table. But if I ran the same query against a rolling 30-day period, I wouldn’t need the entire data set, because all the data was already there. Instead, I could just read out the current data and go back in time. This is how a typical roll-up report works: A fantastic read

Do you know what is roller mill? Well, this is one of the oldest machines used for grinding and crushing grains.

There are many applications where rolling mills come into play like stone crushers, coal grinders, cement plants, etc., but these days it has become a popular choice among the people because of its simplicity and affordability.

Nowadays there is not any application that does not use this machine. For example, bakeries, dairy industries, food processors, breweries, and others all use rolling mills for various purposes. The quality of the product depends upon the type and capacity of the rollers which is available in different sizes.

It can be made up of different materials such as steel, stainless steel, or carbon steel; the latter being very durable. Now let’s talk about how to maintain the good condition of your rolling mill.
