Our story

From engineering labs to East Charlotte

Go Mobile started with one person's career in electronics. Our founder graduated from electronics engineering school in 2000 and went straight into the industry, starting at Panasonic.

From there he joined RIM, the company behind BlackBerry, during the years when smartphones were changing how the world communicates. He was later hired by an Apple lab in Madrid, Spain, where he worked hands-on with Apple devices.

After moving to the United States, he put that experience to work building a business of his own. In 2015 Go Mobile opened in Charlotte with a simple idea: repair devices the way an engineer would. Find the real fault, fix it properly, and tell the customer the price before any work begins.

Today Go Mobile repairs phones, tablets, computers, game consoles and drones, buys and sells devices, and is an Apple Independent Repair Provider. The same engineering habits still guide every repair at the counter.

Go Mobile has been part of Apple's Independent Repair Provider program since 2019. Few repair shops qualify: we work under a direct contract with Apple. Our technicians complete Apple's training and use Apple's own service and support tools, including GSX (Apple's Global Service Exchange). We install genuine Apple parts on request. We also offer high-quality premium parts at a lower price, and we always tell you which part you're getting before any work begins.

My phone had dropped face down no cracks just a frozen screen can’t remember the lady name but she was so nice she insisted on offering help restarting the phone before repairing to see if that will fix the problem but we seen it still didn’t work they gave me a great deal!! What warranty does Go Mobile give?

Premium iPhone screens come with a 1-year warranty and aftermarket iPhone screens with a 30-day warranty. Game console repairs come with a 120-day warranty, and all other repairs with a 90-day warranty.
